The Week 18 Player of the Week is the Weddington Warriors sophomore RB James Shipley. James had 10 receptions for 113 yards and a TD. Shipley also threw a touchdown to his brother Will and sealed the Weddington win with an late interception. The play of James Shipley racked up 186 all-purpose yards on his way to being named MVP of the State Title game in leading the Weddington Warriors to the 3AA State Title with a 27-14 win over SE Guilford.
