2020 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The 2021 (20) UnionCountyHighSchoolFootball.com's Player of the Year is Monroe's Shaleak Knotts. Shaleak had a tremendous year at Monroe leading the Redhawks to a 7-2 record and a trip to the 3A State Semi-Finals. knotts finished 2nd in Union Co. in receptions with 34 and lead Union Co. in receiving yards with 607 and finished tied with teammate Elliot Reid with 7 receiving TDs. Knotts had a season high 126 yards receiving in the 39-27 win over Cuthbertson. Shaleak was named UCHSF Player of the Week twice in 2021 (20). Knotts also started at free safety for the Redhawks and was 2nd on the team where he totaled 55 tackles(46 solo) and 3 Int’s. Punch was selected as 2021(20) Southern Carolina Conference All- Conference and SCC Offensive Player of the Year. Congratulations Shaleak!
