2021 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The 2021 UnionCountyHighSchoolFootball.com's Offensive Player of the Year is Weddington's Kyle Parsons. SCC-OFFENSIVE POY, ALL-SCC, led all of Union Co. in rushing attempts (243), yards (1790) and rushing TDs (21). Named UCHSF Player of the Week for Weeks 8, 11, 14 & 15. Kyle rushed for 515 yds and 5 TDs in 2 wins over Marvin Ridge. Rushed for 232 yards and 3 TDs in playoff win over Cuthbertson. Rushed for 202 yards and 2 TDs in win over rival Porter Ridge. Kyle saved his best for the playoffs where he rushed for 676 yards and scored 9 TDs in 4 playoff games. Had 24 receptions for 194 yards and 1 TD. Led Union Co. in TDs scored with 22. Helped lead the Warriors to a 12-2 record, the SCC title and to the 4th round of the 4A state playoffs. Congrats Kyle!!
