The Red Hawks continue to reign as the Rocky River champs until someone beats them. The RedHawks have won the past three Rocky River Conference titles and look to make it four. The Red Hawks return senior QB Kaegan Chambers, who was the UCHSF New Comer of the year last season after a 1612 passing yards 16 TDs while leading Monroe in rushing yards with 704 and 9 TDs on the ground. Junior Nymir Kendall and senior Zion Lindsey are back after combining for 1300 yards and 26 TDs in 2023. Senior WR/Athlete Jordan Young was named 1st Team UCHSF for the 2nd straight year after putting up 812 yards and 8 in 2023. Bryson Simpkins added 206 receiving yards with 3 TDs in limited action.
The Red Hawks defense lose their top 2 including the 2023 UCHSF Defensive POY in Jayden Olden. Yoel Deleon returns after 93 stops and with 9 sacks in 2023. Senior Jordan Young is a ball hawk in the defensive backfield after 66 tackles and 1 int in 2023. Senior Zion Lindsey added 91 stops and 6 sacks in 2023. The RedHawks open the 2024 season at Central Davidson on Aug. 23rd.
